There's this thing that happens to me, and it's weird. It's like an oddly personal variant on Sod's Law where I'll, say, start using a new frontend framework and immediately be blocked because I need the only feature they've not implemented.
Or everyone at work will upgrade to a new node version just fine, but I'll have some bizarre non-standard folder structure from when IT set up my laptop that means the environment paths get all screwed up.
Maybe I'll keep track of these going forward so I can be more specific about these things.
Anyway, here's todays:
I return to this website having set it up but added no real content for a few months. I want to add a new cauliflower recipe, but the Openoji project I use has no cauliflower emoji.
Well, I think to myself, this can be a new wee project for me; I'll make one in the same style and contribute it back to the project.
Looking at the library page I see every existing emoji there has a unicode associated with it. So I go looking for for the cauliflower unicode online and apparently it doesn't exist.
This is exactly what I'm talking about.
