You'd think that in a holiday week I'd be especially capable of getting my notes done on time, right?
WRONG! Perfunctory backfill on week 42 from the middle of week 43.
Work
No work!
Well, a tiny bit on Monday morning when I discovered that the internal blog posts I've been writing to share knowledge and radiate intent have been inaccessible to anyone because they're publicly available on a private "space" đ
Oh, and that emoji reminds me of another problem I had where I couldn't publish my posts and received server connection error messages when, it turned out, the actual problem was an emoji I'd included in my text. I won't name the shitty platform I was trying to use.
It was atlassian's confluence.
Leisure
Since we're remortgaging the house to pay for this loft conversion it makes sense that we'd pay through the nose to go to Center Parcs for the first (and possibly last) time, right?
There's not much grist for the self-reflection mill at Centre Parcs, and I think that's kind of the point. I summarised it as A Holiday From Thinking. Unlike being in an AirBnB in Fife (or wherever), we don't have to make plans every day about which quaint fishing village we're going to visit, whether there are museums or attractions to see, what we'll do under various weather conditions, etc etc.
You just get up, go to the pool and slot in your meals around that. Have a bit of cycle maybe. Easy.
Did some archery, that was cool. And had some ideas for a zombie RPG set in a holiday park.
