I'm very late posting this, but I might as well get something quick dashed off for the sake of maintaining my schedule.
Week 29 was about getting back from the holiday and getting back to work. I joined towards the end of the sprint so there was nothing formally assigned to me.
After two days at home to let everyone settle down, I took the kids to my folks' house and worked from there, which panned out quite nicely.
I basically continued along the same lines I had been before I went away: poking around in figma trying to nut out exactly how tokens ought to be constructed. I ended up with what I assume to be the idiomatic way of using figma variables: a collection ("primitives") containing nested subgroups of colors, each of which contains a color ramp labeled 05 to 90.We end up with tokens like color-thistle-60
representing a variable path of color/thistle/60
and it all feels quite sane.
I also played around with the Confluence integration and formulated some ideas on how the Design System documentation should be rationalised between the platforms.
I didn't really heep track of all the good things that happened, so we'll just need to be satisfied with a summary that the week was good, overall.
